Outstanding Keynotes Scheduled for SUPERCOMM 2009

Talk to any seasoned professional that’s attended SUPERCOMM in the past and they’ll tell you “SUPERCOMM has great keynotes.”

The tradition continues in 2009 with a group of speakers from leading organizations across the country. They “walk the walk” 24/7, 365 days a year. They’re an impressive list of decision makers with outstanding track records, coming to SUPERCOMM to share their insights and strategic plans for 2009 and beyond.

Note: Keynote speakers added as schedules are confirmed.

 Ivan Seidenberg
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Verizon Communications

Under Seidenberg’s leadership, Verizon has become a premier network company, providing customers with the most advanced and innovative broadband experiences.  Seidenberg was instrumental in forming Verizon through a number of mergers and acquisitions, including Bell Atlantic and NYNEX (1997), GTE (2000) and MCI (2006).  He also helped create what is now Verizon Wireless in 1999 by bringing together the assets of Bell Atlantic Mobile, GTE Wireless and the U.S. properties of Vodafone AirTouch.

John T. Stankey
President and CEO
AT&T Operations

Mr. Stankey’s nearly 30 years experience has helped position AT&T as a leader in the telecom industry, including the company’s world-class integrated IP network spanning six continents with 863,000 fiber optic route miles, MPLS nodes in 143 countries and carrying more than 17 petabytes of data traffic every day.

 Patrick Esser
President
Cox Communications

In 2006, Cox debuted in DiversityInc’s listing of the Top 50 Companies for Diversity, and in three years, the company scaled the list from its initial ranking at number 32 to its’ current ranking at number 6. Cox was named top employer in cable by CableWorld, and in 2007 Mr. Esser was recognized as Multichannel News’ first “Executive of the Year.”

Tom Rogers
President and CEO
TiVO

For over two decades Tom Rogers’ visionary leadership has shaped and redefined traditional and new media companies.  As President and CEO of TiVo Inc (NASDAQ: TIVO) he has lead its evolution into the ultimate single solution media center delivering the most broadband content direct to the TV.  TiVo has been recognized as being a pioneer once again defining what the future of the TV consumption experience will be. Tom was previously CEO of PRIMEDIA (NYSE: PRM), which owned Telephony Magazine, among several hundred other niche media businesses. He also served as Chairman of Teleglobe (NASDAQ: TLGB), an international telecom carrier. Among his many accomplishments, Tom founded CNBC and established the NBC/Microsoft cable channel and Internet joint venture MSNBC and as the first president of NBC cable oversaw channels ranging from A&E to the History Channel to Bravo and Court TV.  Prior to NBC, Tom served for five years as Senior Counsel to the U.S. House of Representatives Telecommunications, Consumer Protection and Finance Subcommittee.

It's not about "maybe we can try this." At SUPERCOMM 2009, you'll hear a lot of "this is how we're doing it."

"An all in solution package for the future in the communication industry."
